I came out early in the morning mist expecting the marshes near the river to be covered in the mist. To my surprise the river was clear, but in the distance the mist had covered the hillside. I have never seen anything like it. The scene was nearly monochrome but for the three trees and the golden river bank. So simple, but I couldn't help being drawn to it.
